Shared Shopping

image\btnseeal.gif

Shared shopping can be accomplished with these features:

·   Forwarding Basket(s) to another shopper.

·  ·Working in "Shopping Group(s)" TeamBuy SM: members of a shopping group access all the group’s baskets.

Forwarded Baskets:

Model codes and part numbers are sent to the recipient. The sender’s basket is not affected.

The recipient can pick up the basket whenever it is convenient.

The items can be re-priced with the recipient’s Pricing Control, or the basket can be forwarded and picked up with the sender's Pricing Controls.

Shopping Groups (TeamBuy SM):

A Shopping Group allows sharing baskets among users along with resale databases, price variances, custom auxiliary specifications and order history.

One user creates a Shopping Group and thus becomes the Group Owner. He invites other shoppers to join the group, providing them with the group's password . Both group owner and members create shopping baskets for the group.

It is recommended that you keep your groups to fewer than 200 baskets. This allows the web pages to display faster.

Shopping Baskets

The person that creates a basket becomes its owner.

Use the Team Buy Shopping Group page to control your baskets.

Other members of the shopping group, but non-owners of the basket, access the basket. They can also take ownership of the basket.

The actions on a basket are determined by the basket's status

Basket Notes

Text fields are provided to communicate with other shopping group members about their baskets:

·  Basket note: for general information about the basket

·  Status note: for explanations about a basket’s "status ".
