Entering or Editing Custom Auxiliary Specification

Users can enter their own Custom Auxiliary Specification information with the Custom Auxiliary Specification feature. They are saved with the quotation.

NOTE: The system does not validate Custom Auxiliary Specification information.

Check ECEP image\ecep.gif if the Custom Auxiliary Specification is for an ECEP product. The ECEP prefix will be included with the Product Code.

č   To enter Custom Auxiliary Specification information:

1. Click the Custom Auxiliary Specification folder in the Model Pane. The Custom Aux. Specs. saved for your user login display. Teambuy members data will appear if they are sharing. Click their name to view

2. Click the edit icon image\editpencil.gif to add a new Custom Aux Spec. The Edit Custom Selection for Model Family dialog box displays.

3. Enter Code, List Price, Quantity and Description(s), and indicate whether the code must be prefixed with ECEP.

ˇ  If you select the ECEP check box, the Product Code will start with the letters ECEP, followed by the appropriate numbers or letters to identify the Custom Auxiliary Specification.

ˇ  Enter one or more Description lines for each special request; for example, one for instrument color, another for packing, and so on. Press the ENTER key to create additional Description lines.

4. Click OK to add the Custom Auxiliary Specification to the Model.
The RealTime Configurator dialog box redisplays, showing the Custom Auxiliary Specifications Model Code(s) and Description(s) you entered.

NOTE: The Custom Auxiliary Specification is included in the total price of the Model. 

č   To edit Custom Auxiliary Specification information:

1. Click Custom Auxiliary Specification on the Model Pane of the RealTime Configurator.

2. Click the edit icon image\editpencil.gif for the description or for the price.

3. Type in the new information in the dialog box.

4. Click OK. 

č   To select Custom Auxiliary Specifications for your model:

1. Click the Custom Auxiliary Specification folder in the Model Pane. The Custom Aux. Specs. saved for your user login display.

2. Click the edit icon image\editpencil.gif to enter a quantity.

3. Click the circle image\circunck.gif to select the Custom Aux Specimage\circchk.gif.
