Edit Custom Selection for Model Family Dialog Box

Use the Edit Custom Selection for Model Family dialog box to:

· enter or edit Custom Auxiliary Specifications for a selected Model.

· specify options that would make the complete model code longer than 28 characters.

The existing manufacturing systems cannot handle a model code with more than 28 characters. The additional codes can be entered as Custom Selections on this dialog box.

Create the core model code with the RealTime Configurator until you reach 28 characters or less. Leave out secondary or "add-on" options rather than core selections when taking out codes of the basic model code to stay within the 28-character limit.

Enter the additional options and their total price from the Price Sheet in this "Edit Custom Selection for Model Family" dialog box. For example:

"Product Code": Plus Options XX & YY.
"List Price": total price for options XX + YY.

Fields

Product Code	Enter the Product Code for the Custom Auxiliary Specification.
List Price	Enter the price of the Custom Auxiliary Specification in basket currency.
Quantity	Enter a quantity (default is 1).
Short Description Long Description (Optional)	Enter a functional description for the Custom Auxiliary Specification.
ECEP	Check this box if you want to begin the Product Code name with the letters ECEP

è To access this dialog box:

1. Access the RealTime Configurator

2. Click Custom Auxiliary Specifications on the Model Pane.

3. Click the $image\editpencil.gif$ icon to open the dialog box.
