Custom Auxiliary Specifications (not all users)

Users can enter Custom Auxiliary Specification into the system. They are saved with the model and/or for their login:

·  Custom Aux Specs entered on the Custom Aux Specs page (access with Profile | Custom Aux Specs) are saved for the user's login and can be added to any model with the RealTime Configurator

·  Custom Aux Specs entered on the Edit Custom Selection dialog box (access from the RTC) are saved with the model to the basket and the user can save them to the database with the save to BuyAutomation.com button.

NOTE: The system does not validate Custom Auxiliary Specification information.

Use the Custom Aux Spec function if your Model Code needs selections which would add up to more than 28 characters.

Custom Aux Spec’s: Select Value

The select Value for the Custom Auxiliary Specification is its unique identifier for the database in BuyAutomation.com.

If a Select Value already exists in the Custom AuxSpec database and it is updated/saved, the existing item will be overwritten with the new information.

Custom Aux Specs ' for Eckardt Products:

Custom Aux Specs’ for Eckardt Products should have the Syntax according to the examples below:

Select: ECEPET2813 ( at first ECEP than direct without blank number..2 letters, 4 numerals)

Short Description: ECEP ET2813 (same but with blank between ECEP and number)

Long Description: Material displacer element and suspension Inconel 600 ( long description)

 

Custom Aux Spec page

On the Custom Aux Spec page users can add, edit, and delete Custom Auxiliary Specifications for their login.

è   To access the Custom Auxiliary Specifications function:

·  Select Profile | Custom Aux Specs from the menu.

OR

·  Click Custom Aux Specs on your Profile page. Follow the instructions to enter or edit Custom Aux Specs. 

è   To select a Custom Auxiliary Specification for a model (RTC):

1 Click Custom Auxiliary Specification on the Model pane. The Custom Aux Specs display in the Detail pane.

2 Select one or more to be added to your model.

3  OR Click the icon image\editpencil.gif to create a new Custom Aux Spec 

WHEN ORDERING CUSTOM AUX SPECS BE SURE THAT THE QUANTITY PERTAINS TO HOW MANY GO ON EACH UNIT, NOT THE QUANTITY REQUIRED FOT THE TOTAL INSTRUMENT COUNT.
