)The e-commerce site provides the means to print your basket items in a Quote format, preceded by a Cover Sheet, complete with Customer address, return address and quotation terms and conditions.
You may also "customize" your Cover sheet using the Quote Master Function
1 Click Quick Quote on your basket page to access the Quick Quote settings page.
2 (Optional) Click Use defaults to bring in your default settings for Quick Quote (on your Profile | QuickQuote Defaults page).
3 Select the pricing format for the items:
ˇ item's each and/or total price or no price
ˇ list and/or net or no prices
4 (Optional) Select to include with pricing format
ˇ discount percentage
ˇ break level prices (only for Quote formats Model Code and Condensed).
Landed Cost is not included in break level prices.
5 Select the Total Format:
ˇ a quote total only
ˇ with sub-totals for compounds
ˇ with sub-totals for process areas or process levels.
6 Select the quote format for the items' description, see examples:
ˇ Model Code: break level description and its selection detail on two lines.
ˇ Condensed: break level description and selection detail on one line.
ˇ Title: model description only, no break levels.
ˇ Compound Parent: only parent item or single item descriptions, see details about compound printing options
ˇ Summarize compounds: see details about compound printing options
7 Make additional selections to include or exclude for items:
ˇ Items' PSS (Product Specification Sheet) reference (hotlink is embedded in word document)
ˇ Items' Lead time
ˇ Product picture
ˇ Lifecycle Phases
ˇ Weights (packaged)
ˇ ECCN number
ˇ Harmonized number
8 Define format preferences:
ˇ Page breaks between items
ˇ Shaded /gray lines
9 Decide to include or exclude:
ˇ quote cover sheet
ˇ Choose your template (access drop down menu)
ˇ Include Invensys Ad (see )
ˇ Terms & Conditions of Sale
10 Enter the cover sheet text or edit the default text.
11 Enter the customer's address:
ˇ Enter the Customer number OR Select a 10 digit Customer number from the pull-down.
- Click Apply.
- Edit the customer's address in the text fields below, if needed.
OR
ˇ Enter the customer's address in the text fields provided.
12 Enter the customer's contact information.
13 Enter the IPS contact information
14Click "back" to store the information and go back to your basket
14 Click "continue" to generate the Quick Quote.
15 Click the link for a "printer friendly window" or the link to open a ".rtf" type Word document.
We recommend you convert this document to PDF format when e-mailing. When saving this doc., Microsoft Word formats the doc. In such a way that it greatly increases the size, by converting to PDF the size will reduce.
