Currency conversion factors

Users who have control of the currency conversion factors on BuyAutomation.com, have three different currency conversion tables (manufacturers' currencies to user currency):

ˇ System Conversion Factors: Defined by Invensys PLC Treasury Group. Users can view the currency rate conversions either from the Line Item Discount Information page or the currency link located at the top of the basket.

ˇ User Conversion Factors: saved for users "with access to currency conversions", if they choose to create User Conversion Factors. This permission is denied unless user has been granted access.

ˇ Basket Conversion Factors: saved with the basket when:

ˇ User CF is defined for the user's login, the factors get copied to the Basket CF

ˇ When a user specifically enters Basket Conversion Factors

ˇ When the user belongs to an Extranet with specific Currency Conversion Factors.

NOTE: Any baskets "Copied" will NOT carry the Basket currency conversion

Currency conversion factor updates:

ˇ System Conversion Factors are updated during regular BuyAutomation.com updates.

ˇ User Conversion Factors are NOT affected by an BuyAutomation.com update.

ˇ Basket Conversion Factors are NOT affected by an BuyAutomation.com updates
