NOTE: Currency conversion editing is not available to all users
When first creating a basket, the following factors are used:
· Users without User Conversion Factors: Basket is priced with System CF – this applies to most users.
· Users with User Conversion Factors: the User CF populates the Basket CF. Basket is priced with Basket CF. Only with permissions
User can change a particular basket's conversion factors by going to Advanced Baskets Properties | Currency | Edit Currency. The Currency Conversion page opens. Users must have access to change currency factors.
Baskets without Basket CF: the System Conversion Factors display, User CF column is empty, Basket CF is empty. Users can create a Basket CF table by either:
· copying System CF to the Basket CF and editing them
· entering their own factors.
Baskets with Basket CF: System Conversion Factors display, Basket CF display and can be edited. If the user has User CF, they display also.
The Reprice function uses the Basket CF. If the Basket CF are empty, it uses the System CF.
Baskets forwarded will only carry the System conversion – not the basket currency conversion
BuyAutomation.com | Export Quote function sends Quote Currency conversions to BuyAutomation.com.
· All quotes uploaded to BuyAutomation will carry the current system conversion factors.
Take ownership of a basket: if Basket Currency Conversion Factors are defined, they remain.
Web Order Copy/History – orders copied into baskets will NOT carry the order currency conversion but will reflect the current system conversion rates
For a copy from Order Status, the Basket is created with the current system conversion rates.
For an Order Revision, the "revision" basket is created with the current system conversion rates.
If the original basket has Basket conversion factors, when copied the current system conversion rates apply – not the basket conversion rate
