General Information – Order Status

è The Order Status Site provides order and quotation detail information from Order Management System - SAP

è Only orders relevant to the User’s account display.

$image\notepin.gif$ Orders display in order status are updated nightly (EDT). Any orders placed one day will appear in order status the following day. The orders are fed to SAP every 30 minutes

è To access Order Status:

· After login, click Order Status on the e-commerce home page.

· Select My Orders | Order Status from the menu.

Functions on Order Status page:

Order Management System	From the pull-down, select the Invensys Global (default) or for order shipped before 03.31.07 select the correct production location
Search by:	Select "contains" or "begins with",depending on where the search text should be found.
Text boxes	Enter search text to find in the Order Status database. $image\asterisk2.gif$ See special consideration for Notes field, below
Search	Starts the search function, based on the search criteria entered on the page.
Reset	Clears all fields.
Options	Opens a page to set preferences for Search Results for the Order Status Search function: - number of orders per page - number of items per page - number of days with order activity.

Links on Order Status page:

Show advanced search	Displays all fields contained in the Order Status database.
Orders I placed	Displays the orders entered by the current user.
Multi Order Screen Search	Opens a page allowing you to search for multiple orders with one click

Matches for the text entered into this box will be looked for in the text fields from the Billing and Shipping page (Billing Notes, Shipping Notes, Special Marks and Payment Terms).

Please bear in mind that these text fields are broken up into 70 character strings in Order Status. Therefore, if your search string happens to be broken up into two lines, it will not be found.

Example: The order status record is split between the words "two" and "temperature". If you search for "We found that two temperature transmitters have", the order will not be found. The search text "We found that two" will return a match.
