Pricing VAS Services

Value Added Services are in the product database in different formats:

ˇ  defined as fixed amount VAS,

ˇ  defined as percentages of the quote

ˇ  defined to accept a user-entered value (amount or percentage)

č   To add user-defined Value Added Services to your basket:

1 Add the VAS code to your basket from the Search Results or the Search | By Services page.

2 On the Basket page, click the VAS icon to display the RTC.

3 On the RealTime Configurator, open the Selections folder.

4 On the Detail Pane, click the Edit icon.

5 On the User Defined Value dialog box, enter a price or a percentage.

6 Click OK.

7 Click update basket.

1 Add the VAS code to your basket from the Search Results.

2 The VAS Code line item will be highlighted in Green on the basic grid (user defined)

3 Enter the value directly on the basket grid

4 Reprice the basket if needed 

VAS services should be added to your I/A Series quotations for supplemental warranty services.  

č   To add Value Added Services to your quotation:

1 Enter "VAS" in the Search Box

2 Check the boxes to select services for your quotation.

3 Click Submit.

Note: To display all the services in the site's database, enter VAS- in the "Search for" text box and click Go.

č   Existing VAS-ES existing I/A and Triconex VAS engineering codes to one set of new codes using the Project Operations name OP. Existing VAS codes will be mapped over to the codes they are superseded by as follows:
