Internet Explorer Auto-complete

Depending on your browser, you can use an AutoComplete feature to fill in your default user name and password. The procedure to turn this feature on is browser specific, check your browser's online help.

For Internet Explorer 5 and later, users can tailor the AutoComplete feature to save and suggest only the information they choose. Users can select AutoComplete for Web addresses, forms, and/or passwords. Users can also clear the history for any of these.

č   To adjust AutoComplete settings for Internet Explorer Version 5 and later:

1  On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.

2  Click the Content tab.

3  In the Personal information area, click AutoComplete.

4  Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use.

č   To remove a default user name:

1  Highlight the username.

2  Hit the Delete key.

NOTE: Bear in mind that activating the AutoComplete feature for your username and password makes it easy for anybody sitting on your computer to access the site.
