Basket Grid Functionality

The Basket Grid is an ActiveX control that gives a convenient column / row array to enter and edit items in your basket. Your internet security selection must allow you to Download Active X.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Security and allow Active X

è   To display the Line Item Grid:

Click Show Grid on the basket page.

Grid functionality

·  use your mouse to move and resize the grid columns

·  right mouse click on basket grid (top gray bar) column to choose what headers you want to display

·  right-click for a line item menu

·  type new items (from the Product database or the Resale database) directly into the "new item" row.

·  display compound totals or process area/level totals

·  type item numbers to re-number the line item list

·  discounting

·  display the first Tag Value for line items. 

è   To add items to the basket:

·  Click {new item} row and type into the row {bmct line item grid.bmp}  

Line Item Menu

·  Select an item and right-click with your mouse to display the menu.

·  Or Select Options located at the top of the basket grid.

·  Certain selections open a sub-menu.

To display Advanced View Menu:

Basket grid feature allows you to customize what columns you would like to view

Save your selections and have any new baskets default to your specifications.

è   To display a Tag Value:

1 Select an item and right-click with your mouse.
The Line Item menu displays.

2 Select View | First Tag Value from the Menu.

è   To apply discounts to items (not all sites):

Line item Discounts (line item discount page)

·  Click on the Total Net Price or the Sell Disc. to access the Line Item Discount screen

·  Select Line Item | Edit Discounts from the right-click menu to access the Line Item Discount screen.

·  All price adjustments will reflect on this page as well as the currency conversion rate.

Applying any entry in the Set Net fields will remove all other price adjustments

Line item discounts (basket grid)

·  Right Mouse click on the top Gray Bar on the basket grid and add column for Discount A ( or B,C,D,E)

·  Enter the dollar amount or % directly in the column grid. Be sure to enter (-) sign if discounting

·  If entering a percentage enter the (%) sign.

GROUPING LINE ITEMS

è   To select several items:

·  Use the Shift and Control keys with your mouse click to select a continuous list of items or scattered items from your list.

·  Right click to assign a compound parent to several items.

·  Right click to assign Process Areas/Levels to the selected items.

è   To create and display Compounds:

1 Select an item and right-click with your mouse. The Line Item menu displays.

2 Select Assign Parent

3 Select one from Choose Parent Item option

4 Click Ok

5 To view compound total right mouse click and select View

6 Select Totals 

è   To display Process Area/Level and assign items:

1 Select an item and right-click with your mouse.
The Line Item menu displays.

2 Select View | Process Areas from the menu.

3 Select one or more items on the grid.

4 Right-click to display the line item menu.

5 Select Assign Process Areas from the menu.

6 Select a Process Area and click OK. 

è   To add new Process Areas/Levels:

1 Click {blank process area} or {blank process level}.

2 Type Process Area or Process Level name into the row.

To display the version of the Basket Grid – click on "your price". A separate window will open with the version number
